'Twas the week before Christmas....

For the past several weeks, I've made a lot of posts on this blog regarding my personal opinions, photographs that I took, places I've been, food I ate, email I received, movies or TV shows that I watched, tests I took, games I played, etc. And yet, it's been a while since I posted an entry about me.

This is supposed to be a journal of my thoughts right? It did start out that way. During the first several months of this blog, I've posted a lot of my thoughts regarding the things that have been happening in my life. Somewhere along the way, my writing has diversified, and I have been blogging a little about everything, except, as it would appear, myself.

While I'm not out to reverse the trend in the topics I blog about, considering the interest and visitor feedback that those topics have generated, I thought it would be a nice change of pace to go back to this blog's roots and talk about my own humdrum existence, in this, and probably some future posts.

Seems timely as well, with Christmas just a week away. And with the non-working holidays coming up, I probably could use the writing to while away the time. :-)

Until then, hope you people stay tuned.

Happy holidays people. And hope you like my Christmas tree. :-)

Your blog is quite unique. It covers varieties of very interesting topics - a little of this and a little of that and of course what works well is your ability "To discuss the subjects" with great confidence and diplomacy. This is one of the reasons why I am becoming a frequent flyer of your blog and the other reason is your cordial approach and hospitality.

(me) Thinking how much travel mileage have I accumulated since my last visit here? Is it enough to claim my reward in time for the last minute gift ideas? (j/k)
I have not done my shopping yet and my Amex statement is sitting in front of me demanding that I pay on or before the due date. It says, $1.36 and the postage stamp required to send my remittance cost $0.50

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your boy.
