Can you find the hidden 3D images in stereograms? Try this out for size, and tell me if you see something. Just stare at the picture below, relax, and let your eyes go out of focus...once you learn how to do it, you won't forget anymore...:-)

Am not sure exactly...there probably is, cause I sincerely doubt that stereograms can be drawn by hand. But I haven't heard of a program you can buy or download that actually does that. I only learned to see stereograms when I was already 26...it turns out a lot of people don't seem to be able to get the focus right....

you have to look past the picture. your field of focus should be 1 or 2 feet beyond the actual sheet of paper with the stereogram. your breathing should be in tune with the universe. Yada yada, dada yada, yada yada yada.

pare, when you see the stereogram image , you're no longer looking at the monitor in front of you but you've focused your eyes to a point a few inches beyond the screen. if you hold a finger in front of you you'll see only one finger. try to focus your eyes beyond it and you'll see two images of the same finger. same principle. I guess the metaphor there is you have to see through the problem to know the solution. then wash your existentialist's angsts away with the heavy waters of the river styx... yadayadayada
