Massacre....

As part of my office's 11th year anniversary celebration, a number of colleagues and I helped coordinate a goodwill exhibition match between a selection of the best players in our office and the San Miguel Basketball All-Stars.

The game was held yesterday, and as expected, it was nothing less than a massacre. The All-Stars, featuring some of the best players to ever suit up in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), such as Ato Agustin, Vince Hizon, Pido Jarencio, Joey Santamaria, Bobby Jose and Cris Bolado made mincemeat of our team's defense, outscoring them by more than forty points when the final buzzer sounded. And they weren't even trying.

Oh, of course it was all in good fun. :-)

It was certainly a treat to watch the former PBA stars in action, not only for myself, but for the hundreds of officemates who took time out from pencil pushing to watch the game. While most of the All-Stars are retired from the PBA, they obviously haven't lost their touch, scoring effortlessly whether from under the basket or beyond the 3 point arc.

Kudos to our team as well, for putting up a good game. Of course, no one really expected them to win. :-)

By the way, if you're wondering what office I work for, keep wondering. I haven't mentioned the name in this post. :-)

Haha. A shame I didn't run in to you. :-)

And let's keep 'there' between us shall we? Don't want them other visitors to know which office I keep criticizing. Hahaha. :-)

Nah. They'll have a hell of time defending against me. Hahahaha. :-)
