Join the VFS movement....

As I said in my previous post, while there may not be much we can do to curtail the onrush of "tabloid blogging," there is a movement advocating the extension of respect and courtesy towards other fellow bloggers and visitors to our blogs.

That movement is know as the Movement for Visitor Friendly Sites. You can visit its site here.

If you agree with the tenets of the VFS movement, then by all means join up. I did. Maybe this way we can encourage other bloggers to be polite and friendly to their visitors as well, even if some bloggers or visitors may not deserve our respect or courtesy.

Perhaps, through this movement, we can contribute somewhat to making the blogosphere a better place for everyone concerned.

My thanks to the blogger who brought this movement to my attention.

Its a methyl (methane derivative) ester (organic compound) dipeptide (two amino acids joined by a single peptide bond) consisting of aspartic acid as the first amino acid, and phenylalanine as the second. Its about 180 times sweeter than typical table sugar, and as such, a little goes a long way.
