Flash drive on the cheap....

Here's a tech tip. If you have a lot of spare memory cards (MMC, RS-MMC, SD) lying around, you can use them as portable file storage by means of an inexpensive USB memory card reader/writer only a wee bit larger than an actual flash drive. Gives those small capacity cards, the ones they bundle with digital cameras and cellphones that we upgrade right away a new lease on life as a flash drive. And it certainly beats walking around with a floppy disk in hand.
