The new face of Virra Mall....

The recently renovated and reopened Virra Mall in Greenhills. A far cry from the somewhat sleazy excuse of a mall that I had been frequenting since the 80s whenever I was looking for some electronic doodad, software, or a pirated DVD movie. I miss the old Virra Mall. :-)

Yeah. Shades of Glorietta, Ayala Center, and the Power Plant malls. And then you see the tiangges. :-)

wow Virra Mall looks really different! Even if I haven't been to this one, I alraedy miss the old look. It brings back memories!

Here in the Philippines, it is commonly known by the brand names NutraSweet and Equal . The reason why it has significantly fewer calories is because its not carbohydrate based. Its a methyl (methane derivative) ester (organic compound) dipeptide (two amino acids joined by a single peptide bond) consisting of aspartic acid as the first amino acid, and phenylalanine as the second. Its about 180 times sweeter than typical table sugar, and as such, a little goes a long way.
