Paying our respects....

Last night a friend and I paid our respects to the late former Senator Raul Roco. His remains are lying in state at the Maria della Strada Parish chapel on Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City. We offered our condolences and support to his eldest son who was a classmate of ours in law school. It was also an opportunity to see classmates I haven't seen in years.

It was raining hard at the time, and there were quite a lot of people visiting the wake. The row of wreaths was so long it extended outside. There were also TV crews standing by, no doubt waiting for any famous personalities to drop by and pay their respects. While the mood was somber, everyone seemed to take Sen. Roco's passing rather well.

Here are a few pictures:

Again, our sincerest condolences to his family.
