I'm sorry if I haven't made any sensible posts lately. I'm feeling kinda stressed out lately, fatigued, somewhat irritable, and my nape hurts, more likely than not due to elevated blood pressure.
Let me give you a rundown of what may have caused this: two weeks of shuttling in vans, riding on planes, sleeping in hotels, giving presentations and answering questions. Excess coffee and alcohol consumption and smoking. Lack of sleep. Pressure over the fiasco known as my misguided attempt to take the CSEE exam without any sort of preparation earlier in the day, irritation over such trivial things as the faulty switch of my TV's extension cord, replacement of the somewhat defective memory module I got earlier for my computer, a messy room that hasn't seen a broom in two weeks, bills that haven't been settled, I'm out of Coke Light, well...you get the picture.
While traveling may be fun, it certainly is no fun dealing with unfinished business when you get back home. And I'm neck deep in unfinished business...
I'm just dead tired, and a bit short-fused for now. I'm taking the day off tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be feeling better the next day. I just feel the need to detox.
Because the next day I'll be making another presentation...*sigh*
